The Asset Finance team of our Banking department is recognised internationally as a leading group in this area and has won numerous awards. We are looking for solicitors who wish to focus their existing shipping finance skills and experience. This is also an opportunity for the right candidate to broaden their experience and, should they wish, to work on aircraft, film and other asset finance transactions.

The Shipping Finance team works principally for blue-chip finance providers and specialises in structured cross-border transactions. For example, the team has recently been at the forefront of developing innovative Islamic ship finance structures and is now a recognised market leader in this area.

We are keen to hear from candidates who have good shipping finance experience with a recognised firm. Ideally we are looking for candidates with approximately 1-2 years' pqe and also 4-5 years' pqe.  We will consider applications from candidates outside this range with suitable skills and knowledge.
