Leigh is experienced in advising major corporations, institutions, lenders and developers on matters involving international development and project finance, Islamic finance, corporate finance and capital market transactions together with media and compliance issues.
In addition to counselling companies in the development and financing of private, large-scale projects involving power and water, oil, gas and chemical plants and major real estate developments, Leigh helps businesses build relationships with governments, with a focus on the Gulf region. Leigh regularly assists clients on high-end, joint venture development initiatives designed to support large infrastructure projects and sourced through capital markets. He also has experience negotiating financings concerning commercial products entering the Middle East, with a particular emphasis on Qatari affairs.

- Qatargas 3 (US$6 billion) – counsel for ECAs and lenders
- Q – Chem II/ Qatofin (US$2 billion) – counsel for sponsors
- Dolphin Project bridge (Islamic) financing – counsel for financiers
- US$500 million Qatar real estate sukuk (counsel for financiers)
- US$225 million Al Waab City murabaha bridge financing
- US$85 million Qatar real estate sukuk (counsel for financiers)
- Qatar's Ististna'a/ Ijara real estate development with sukuk component (ongoing)
- US$7 billion book of Qatar Airways aircraft financings (Islamic and conventional).
