Roderick leads the Communications group in the Technology, Media and Telecoms department of Denton Wilde Sapte.  He provides commercial and regulatory advice to suppliers, operators and users of fixed and mobile communication networks.  He has particular experience of mobile networks, virtual mobile networks, spectrum management, telecommunications regulatory licensing, strategic outsourcing, on-line services and electronic cash payment systems.  He has worked for Virgin Mobile, Nokia, Celtel International, UK Government and regulators in Ireland, Bulgaria, Egypt and UAE.  He has considerable experience in large international communication projects and regularly works for clients in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Roderick is recommended as a specialist telecom lawyer in the Legal 500 (2006).  The 2006 edition of Chambers and Partners describes him as “a treasure trove of telecoms information” who is "especially noted for his drive and his competition expertise".
