• The Copyright and Related Rights Law: This law sets out a new regime for the protection of copyright material. It repeals a previous law and carries both civil and criminal liabilities.
• The Law on the Organisation of Production of Optic Discs and Accessories: This law prohibits any natural or juristic person from producing optic discs and accessories without a licence from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
• The Law of Industrial Property Rights: This law repeals various laws and establishes a new regime for the protection and registration of patents, inventions, industrial designs, topographic designs and trade marks.
