REACH - have you registered?

Under new EU regulations called REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals), if your business imports substances into the EU (or manufactures substances in the EU), you will be obliged to register them with the European Chemicals Agency. You will NOT legally be able to import (or manufacture) substances in the EU until you do so.
The obligation to register started on 1 June this year. Whose responsibility it is to register is often not clear cut - we can help assess whether you fall within the REACH definition of "importer" or "manufacturer" and whether you are responsible for registration.
