Adjudication

Adjudication, a mandatory form of dispute resolution, applied by Statute or by agreement between the parties into many construction contracts aims to resolve disputes in no longer than 28 days.

We have acted for both claimants and respondents, including construction companies, developers, local authorities and individual property owners in a large number of adjudications arising out of construction contracts. The value at stake often runs to hundreds of thousands of pounds.

Our extensive experience enables us to provide advice on how best to present your claim before an Adjudicator or to respond, at short notice, to any claims made against you. We are also able to advise on the enforcement of adjudication awards through the courts or if you wish to challenge the enforcement of an award.
