Our CIS practice comprises more than 50 lawyers across Russia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan.

We became the largest law firm in Central Asia following the recruitment of eight lawyers from Coudert Brothers' Almaty office in October 2005. Part of our strategy of investment in the region, this acquisition gives us more than 30 lawyers across our Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Tashkent (Uzbekistan) offices.

We are also experiencing significant growth in Russia, where our office – based predominantly around the Energy and Banking & Finance practices – has more than trebled in size over the last 18 months.
