Denton Wilde Sapte is the collective trade name for an international legal practice comprising Denton Wilde Sapte LLP and its affiliated undertakings. Accordingly, references on this website to Denton Wilde Sapte mean Denton Wilde Sapte LLP and the other partnerships, corporations and other undertakings which are authorised to carry the name "Denton Wilde Sapte" or to describe themselves as being "in association with Denton Wilde Sapte LLP" (or similar expressions) or one or more of those undertakings as the context requires. Denton Wilde Sapte LLP is incorporated in England and Wales under no. OC322045. Denton Wilde Sapte LLP is registered for Value Added Tax in the United Kingdom (registration number GB 100 1095 89).

In preparation for our combination with Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP on 30 September 2010, we are changing the names of Denton Wilde Sapte entities. We will continue to use the names currently registered with local authorities until registration and licensing formalities are complete.

 

Website pages created before 1 November 2006

Before 1 November 2006, the law firm "Denton Wilde Sapte" was a general partnership set up under English law. Although this website includes documents produced before then, nothing in them means that Denton Wilde Sapte LLP or any limited liability affiliate is a general partnership or has unlimited liability.

 

Partners

Everyone listed on this website is either a partner, consultant or employee of Denton Wilde Sapte and/or its affiliated entities unless otherwise stated. Details of the qualifications of all lawyers who are not England and Wales qualified appear on their individual people pages.

On this website, "partner" means a member of Denton Wilde Sapte LLP or an employee or consultant with equivalent standing and qualifications or someone with equivalent status in an affiliate. A list of the members of Denton Wilde Sapte LLP is open to inspection at its registered office at One Fleet Place, London EC4M 7WS.

 

Regulation

The Solicitors Regulation Authority regulates Denton Wilde Sapte LLP and its partners in the United Kingdom. Outside the UK, Denton Wilde Sapte LLP and its affiliates are regulated according to the jurisdiction where they practise. Individual lawyers may also be regulated in another jurisdiction where they are admitted to practise. The Solicitors' Code of Conduct is available online at http://www.rules.sra.org.uk/. Professional indemnity insurance

Our compulsory professional indemnity insurer is QBE Insurance (Europe) Ltd and others, c/o AON Limited, 8 Devonshire Square, London EC2M 4PL. The territorial coverage is worldwide.

If you are a client, and you have any concerns with any aspect of our services, including the bill, we would like to discuss them with you. Please contact the partner with overall responsibility for the matter or your relationship partner. If you are dissatisfied with the response, please write to our Complaints Handling Partner (Helen Cleaveland). If we cannot together resolve the problem, you may refer the matter to the Legal Complaints Service (or the Office for Legal Complaints) or, in the case of a bill, apply to the court for an assessment under Part III of the Solicitors Act 1974.
