In a piece entitled "Europe flexes its muscles over banks", focusing on state aid, where the UK had to get approval from the EU commission, bailouts and the break-up of banks, Edward Fennell, The Times, quoted Rosali Pretorius on the Financial Services Authority's objectives.

"Rosali Pretorius, of Denton Wilde Sapte, says: 'The FSA's objectives are to manage consumer protection, risk and confidence in the markets and to reduce financial crime.'"
