Bedding down to BCOBS: have you ticked the boxes?

It seems to have been a long time coming, but at last the Payment Services Regulations (PSR) and the Banking Conduct of Business Sourcebook (BCOBS) are in force. In this article, Brett Hillis and Emma Radmore of Denton Wilde Sapte look at the changes banks should have made to adapt to the new retail deposit taking regime. Close analysis of the PSRs is outside the scope of this article, but the regimes run in parallel to some extent, so this article looks at the PSRs so far as necessary to understand BCOBS.
