Our Syndicated Global Finance team has extensive experience in
acting for both lenders and borrowers on all aspects of commercial
lending. We are recognised in the industry and legal press as
leaders in global finance transactions.
We act on both routine and complex structured transactions
ranging from unsecured bilateral loans to international structured
syndicated lending. Our client base incorporates the leading UK,
European, Asia Pacific and Far East financial institutions and a
number of major corporates. We are experienced in various banking
transactions with sovereigns, international organisations, export
credit agencies, financial institutions and corporates.
We have extensive experience with restructuring of the
aforementioned transactions with notably the Parex Banka
transaction being the first European financial institution to be
restructured.
We have assisted a number of bank clients with the preparation
of standard form documentation for use in those transactions
(unsecured or secured) which can to a large extent be managed
in-house. We also have extensive expertise in advising on
transactions using LMA documentation, whether unsecured syndicated
loans or in the context of secured (often tax-structured) real
estate or leveraged finance transactions.
